Job summary

A leading staffing and recruitment firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced individual responsible for plant operations and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in the cement industry, including ready-mix concrete, and will be skilled in electrical systems and troubleshooting. Proficiency in Hindi/Urdu is mandatory, with optional English skills. You will execute preventive maintenance, conduct inspections, and ensure operational safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for plant demobilization, erection, start-up, and commissioning
• Maintain and upkeep plants and related major and minor ancillaries in good and safe working condition.
• Perform daily walk-around inspections of plants and ancillaries before and during operational activities.
• Report noticeable plant operational irregularities promptly to Foreman / supervisor for rectification and anticipate unnecessary plant breakdown.
• Execute periodic Preventive Maintenance schedules of plants and ancillaries.
• Conduct visual oil analysis during every drain period.
• Coordinate with Plant Supervisor / Plant Electrician, third party when available, for Lock Out / Tag Out procedures during scheduled or unscheduled plant repairs / adjustments.
• Responsible for maintaining daily job-related records.

Key Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 3 years of industry experience (cement), preferably 1 or 2 years in Ready-mix Concrete Industry.
• Proficient in all aspects of ready-mix plant operations and associated equipment
• Skilled in diagnosing electrical system failures and implementing corrective / preventive measures.
• Familiarity with PLC systems and capable of basic troubleshooting
• Competent in general electrical system repair tasks
• Proficient in identifying and resolving electrical issues in power and control wiring.
• Capable of interpreting hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical diagrams.
• Experienced in utilizing various tools and equipment including power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Possesses basic safety knowledge relevant to plant operations.
• Proficient in Hindi / Urdu (mandatory), with optional proficiency in English
