IIT Delhi - Abu Dhabi invites applications for Assistant Professors in the area of Electrical Engineering. The successful candidates will deliver high-quality teaching, mentor outstanding undergraduate and graduate students, pursue impactful, interdisciplinary research, and contribute to institution-building.

The institute undertakes rigorous and impactful research across a broad spectrum of areas. We invite candidates to apply in areas including but not limited to the following, with a strong focus on application in Electrical Engineering:

• Systems and Control (Robotics and Autonomous Systems, Learning and Data-Driven control, stochastic control etc.)
• Power Electronics and Electrical Machines (WBG devices, grid connected converter, EV drives, EMI/EMC etc.)
• Power Systems (Distribution System Analysis and Optimization, Storage and EVs, Electricity Markets, smart grid etc.)
• Computer Technology (Multisensory perception and cognition, Generative AI, Quantum Computing and Neuromorphic computing etc.)
• Communications (Photonics, Optical Communications & Networking, 6G and advanced Communication, AI/ML for Wireless Communications etc.)

Outstanding candidates in other areas of Electrical Engineering will also be considered.

It is expected from the candidate to teach UG students in one or few of the core electrical areas like circuit theory, electrical machines, analog and digital electronics, power electronics, control system, embedded systems, digital communications etc. several of which have associated lab components.

Qualifications
