We are seeking a highly disciplined and experienced engineer to fill the position of Electrical Engineer to work on our project in Dubai, UAE.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design, technical analysis and/or analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective resolutions
• Interact with all engineering disciplines, construction project managers and clients. Includes attending meetings as required, writing reports and giving presentations
• Estimating material, construction, labor costs and project timescales
• Responsible for testing installation, overseeing inspection and maintenance programs
• Ensure projects meet electrical and construction safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Registered Electrical and Professional Engineers is required
• Minimum of 12 years combined experience as Design Electrical Engineer including building services and construction of hotels, out of which minimum 5‑7 years with internationally renowned consultants/construction firm
• Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering and design, familiar with applicable codes, standards and acceptable industry practices
• Must have experience in a multi‑discipline engineering design or EPC projects
• Familiarity with computers and software programs for job costing, online collaboration, scheduling, and estimating is also important
• Required to prepare written specifications and contract documents
• Must be pro‑active, adaptable and a motivated team player
• Fluency in English/Arabic language in both verbal and written communication skills is required
