QHSE Supervisor for a plant engineering and construction company
Role / Job Task Description
- Implementation of Management System based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OSHAS 18001
- Communicate and ensure effective implementation of QHSE policy across the organization
- Advise management in setting up of QHSE objectives and targets for the organization
- Ensure that organization is certified as per latest ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OSHAS 18001 standards
- Liaise with certification agency for carrying out periodic surveillance and recertification audits
- Prepare and implement thorough audit program inclusive of ongoing construction sites annually
- Ensure that all non-conformances generated during the course of the External & Internal audit are closed in a systematic manner
- Coordinate with corporate office / headquarters on implementation of QHSE minimum requirements and procedures
- Ensure that Project Quality and HSE plans are effectively implemented by periodic site visits and audits
- Expert in carrying out HSE risk assessment & Environment aspect impact analysis for construction sites and office
- Identification of HSE training needs for the organization
- Report to management the HSE performance of organization by collecting HSE data based on lagging and leading HSE indicators and propose further roadmap on improvement of HSE culture within the organization
- Must be expert in systematic investigation of any accident / incident by Fish bone diagram, Fault tree analysis, Event tree analysis and can lead a team of investigators
- Establish and monitor emergency rescue plan and periodic training / drills in case of emergency / fire
- Perform qualification audits for subcontractors / suppliers based on QHSE criteria and evaluate their performance based on the quality of work delivered
- Conduct management review meetings and update the management on status of current QHSE performance
Educational Qualification
- Graduate Engineer (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation)
- Certified Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OSHAS 18001
- Diploma in Industrial Safety
Experience
- At least 4 to 12 years of experience in similar position either as QHSE Supervisor or Management Representative for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OSHAS 18001
- Should have worked in EPC organization for at least 3 years (Preferably in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Sectors) as QHSE Supervisor or Management Representative.
- Knowledge of Aris based process modeling would be an added advantage.
