Job description
Duty Engineer
  • Monitor and maintain mechanical electrical and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults or equipment failures promptly.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to reduce risk of breakdowns.
  • Respond quickly to emergencies such as alarms or safety hazards following protocols.
  • Keep detailed records of equipment status maintenance work and incidents.
  • Coordinate with other departments to address operational and technical needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations company policies and industry standards.
  • Support installation commissioning and testing of new equipment or systems as required.
Qualifications :
  • Diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or relevant field)
  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g. HVAC electrical safety mechanical maintenance)
  • Proven experience in maintenance troubleshooting and repair of engineering systems
  • Strong understanding of mechanical electrical and HVAC systems
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle emergencies calmly
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Computer literacy for logging reports and using maintenance management systems
