Job summary

A leading firm in the oil and gas sector is seeking an experienced driver to safely transport personnel to various sites. The ideal candidate will have a valid UAE driving license and a minimum of 3–5 years of driving experience, preferably in oil and gas or construction projects. Responsibilities include adhering to safety regulations, conducting vehicle maintenance checks, and ensuring safe handling during transportation. Strong knowledge of UAE roads and effective communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid UAE driving license (Light / Heavy as applicable).
• Minimum 3–5 years of driving experience in Oil & Gas or construction projects.
• Familiar with UAE roads and site access procedures.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Safely drive company vehicles to transport employees, supervisors, and visitors to Oil & Gas sites and Head Office as required

• Ensure compliance with UAE traffic laws, company driving policies, and client (ADNOC/Project) HSE requirements

• Conduct daily vehicle checks including fuel, oil, brakes, tires, lights, and cleanliness

• Maintain vehicle logbooks, trip sheets, and fuel records accurately

• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or near misses immediately to the supervisor

• Ensure valid permits, passes, and documents are available for site entry

• Support loading and unloading of materials when required, ensuring safe handling

• Follow defensive driving practices and attend mandatory HSE and driving trainings

• Maintain professional behavior and courteous conduct with passengers and clients

Qualifications

• Valid UAE driving license (Light / Heavy as applicable)

• Minimum 3–5 years of driving experience, preferably in Oil & Gas or construction projects

• Familiar with UAE roads, industrial areas, and site access procedures

• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks

• Ability to communicate in English (Arabic is an advantage)

• Physically fit and medically cleared as per company and client requirements
