Job summary

A leading recruitment agency based in Abu Dhabi is looking for a highly organized Document Controller. This full-time permanent position requires the ideal candidate to manage and control all project documents, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and up-to-date. The successful applicant will have at least 8-10 years of document control experience, preferably in construction, and be proficient in document control software and systems. Fluency in both English and Arabic is required for effective communication within the team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in document control, preferably in construction, infrastructure, and road work.
  • Strong knowledge of document control procedures and systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling all project documents, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and up-to-date. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all project documents in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure all project documents are accurate, complete, and up-to-date
  • Maintain an organized and efficient document control system
  • Receive, log, and distribute all incoming and outgoing project documents
  • Monitor and track document revisions and ensure proper version control
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure timely submission of documents
  • Prepare document transmittals and maintain accurate records of all project documents
  • Ensure compliance with document control procedures and standards
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations as needed
  • Provide support to project managers and other team members as required
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in document control, preferably in Construction, Infrastructure and road work
  • Strong knowledge of document control procedures and systems
  • Familiarity with DC systems such as ACONEX, SAP, EDMS
  • Proficient in document control software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of document control procedures and standards
  • Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal
