Job description

Position: Dental Assistant / Registered Dental Nurse

Responsibilities:
  • Treatment Room and Equipment Preparation:
    Ensure treatment room and equipment are properly disinfected and prepared for patients according to clinic and PCI standards, including instrument sterilization.
  • Chairside Assistance:
    Provide chairside assistance to dentists during dental procedures.
  • Patient Assistance:
    Provide professional and welcoming assistance to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding.
  • Dental Radiographs:
    Develop and process dental radiographs in accordance with guidelines. Assist in monitoring and maintaining radiation safety procedures and protocols.
  • Dental Records Management:
    Maintain dental laboratory results and create/maintain dental records in accordance with established procedures.
  • Inventory Management:
    Order and maintain inventories of dental clinic supplies.
  • Patient Health History:
    Collect and record patient health histories accurately.
  • Confidentiality:
    Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to patient and organization.
  • Teamwork:
    Work cooperatively with clinical staff to provide quality patient treatments in a positive team environment.
  • Clinic Policies and Procedures:
    Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
