We are seeking a committed and skilled individual to join our kitchen team as a Demi Chef de Partie. Responsibilities
  • Support the Chef de Partie in preparing and presenting dishes to the highest standard in your designated section.
  • Follow kitchen recipes portion control and presentation specifications for all menu items consistently.
  • Assist with food preparation and mise en place for daily service ensuring readiness and efficiency throughout shifts.
  • Maintain strict standards of hygiene and food safety adhering to all HACCP and health and safety policies.
  • Monitor, record and report stock levels and wastage ensuring effective storage and usage of all ingredients.
  • Collaborate with the wider kitchen team communicating effectively to ensure smooth service delivery and a positive working environment.
  • Assist in the training and support of junior staff sharing best practices and upholding kitchen standards.
  • Ensure cleaning schedules are followed and workstations remain clean, organised and safe at all times.
  • Adapt to changing priorities during busy periods and help other kitchen sections when required.
Experience & Skills
  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen setting as a Commis Chef, Demi Chef de Partie or similar role is desirable.
  • Strong passion for food, keen attention to detail and a willingness to learn new techniques and cuisines.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Understanding of food safety, kitchen hygiene and allergen management.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities to contribute to a supportive and inclusive kitchen culture.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as required.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability and motivation to maintain high standards throughout every service.
