Job description

A leading global consulting and technology services organization supporting clients in developing robust data management, privacy, and security capabilities. They are seeking a Data Management Consultant – Data Privacy & Security to contribute to enterprise data initiatives and ensure alignment with global regulatory and security standards.

Responsibilities
  • Drive data strategy & transformation programs, including data maturity assessments, gap analysis, and roadmap creation.
  • Define future-state recommendations and target operating models for data protection.
  • Develop and implement data privacy policies aligned with regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, PDPA.
  • Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and advise on data handling practices.
  • Ensure proper consent management and data subject rights processes.
  • Design and enforce security controls for data at rest, in transit, and in use.
  • Collaborate with IT security teams to implement encryption, masking, and anonymization techniques.
  • Monitor and mitigate data security risks, including breaches and unauthorized access.
  • Establish data governance frameworks integrating privacy and security principles.
  • Perform risk assessments and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Maintain compliance documentation and audit readiness.
  • Work with legal, compliance, and technology teams to align data protection strategies.
  • Provide training and awareness programs on data privacy and security best practices.
  • Utilize tools for data discovery, classification, and protection.
  • Familiarity with cloud security and identity & access management (IAM) solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
  • CDMP, CIPP/E, CIPM, and CISSP certifications are preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Skilled in managing client workshops and facilitating discussions.
  • Ability to deliver impactful presentations.
  • Arabic language proficiency preferred (English mandatory).
