Our client, a leading marine services company in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Crewing Officer to join their team. As a Crewing Officer, you will be responsible for managing the crewing operations for the company's fleet of vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain crewing schedules for all vessels, ensuring adequate manning levels at all times

- Coordinate crew changes, travel arrangements, and visa requirements for crew members

- Maintain accurate crew records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies

- Monitor crew performance and provide support for any training and development needs

- Liaise with recruitment agencies and conduct interviews to select suitable candidates for open positions

- Coordinate with vessel managers and other departments to ensure smooth crew rotations and timely crew changes

- Handle crew-related issues, including grievances, complaints, and disciplinary actions

- Manage crew payroll and expenses, ensuring accuracy and timely processing

- Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in crewing requirements

- Participate in crewing-related meetings and provide reports to senior management as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in maritime studies, human resources, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in crewing operations, preferably in the marine industry

- Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and crewing requirements

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and crew management software
