Job Overview

We are currently partnering with a leading lifestyle brand in the UAE to hire aCost Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and controlling costs to ensure profitability and operational efficiency across the business. Prior experience in the F&B industry is preferred, particularly in managing food, beverage, and operational costs in a multi-outlet environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate cost control systems for inventory, production, and operations.
  • Monitor daily material consumption, wastage, and variance between standard and actual costs.
  • Conduct regular cost and margin analysis to identify opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with procurement, operations, and finance teams to ensure cost accuracy and budget alignment.
  • Prepare detailed cost reports and analysis for management review and decision-making.
  • Oversee stock control processes, including stock counts, reconciliations, and variance investigations.
  • Support pricing strategies by providing cost insights and profitability assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (CMA or equivalent certification preferred).
  • 4–7 years of experience in cost control, ideally within the F&B or hospitality sector.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and cost accounting principles.
  • Proficient in ERP and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Odoo).
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy, cost efficiency, and operational improvement.
