• Coordinate physical stock counts, cycle counts, and year-end audits.
• Develop costing models and analytical tools for management.
• Support forecasting of material requirements and cost assessments.
• Document internal controls related to production reporting.

Our client is currently hiring for the position of Cost Accountant

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and periodically update standard costing for all products, covering raw materials, packaging, labor, utilities, and manufacturing overheads.
• Monitor and analyze production costs, including variances, yields, wastage, extraction ratios, and efficiency trends.
• Perform regular inventory reconciliations between physical stock, production records, and ERP balances.
• Coordinate and participate in physical stock counts, cycle counts, and year-end inventory audits.
• Develop and maintain costing models, dashboards, and analytical tools for management review and decision-making.
• Support forecasting of material requirements and assessing cost and margin implications of volume and mix changes.
• Strengthen and document internal controls related to production reporting, inventory movements, and cost allocation.
