Job summary

A leading food delivery service in Sharjah is seeking a dedicated individual to manage and improve rider performance in allocated zones. This full-time role involves monitoring compliance, leading rider recruitment, and managing teams of Rider Coordinators. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree and have at least 1 year of experience in the food or grocery tech industry, complemented by strong communication skills in English and Urdu, with Arabic as an advantage. The position requires effective people management and public speaking skills.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in food/grocery tech industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal; English and Urdu is a must, Arabic is a plus.
  • Experience in managing a larger group of people.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and improve Rider Performance and Compliance.
  • Lead Rider Recruitment for the allocated zones.
  • Manage rider roster and ensure proper allocation of shifts and breaks.
  • Supervise rider onboarding and training schedule.
  • Set up performance improvement plans for low performing riders.

Role Summary

Managing and improving the rider performance of allocated zone/s within a city. Taking ownership of rider service levels by measuring compliance finding performance gaps and execute a plan to fill performance related gaps

Whats On Your Plate
  • Monitor and improve Rider Performance and Compliance
  • Lead Rider Recruitment for the allocated zones
  • Lead a Team of Rider Coordinators and/or Rider Captains
  • Manage rider roster with proper allocation of shifts/breaks/off-days etc
  • Supervises rider onboarding and training schedule with Rider Trainer and Rider Supervisor
  • Inventory management and usage compliance of Rider equipments
  • Groom rider quality (behaviour appearance professionalism presentational etc)
  • Setting up a performance improvement plan to improve performance of low performing riders
  • Reduce rider complaints originating from customers
  • Monitor riders performance on individual level and responsible for coaching/warning riders
  • Audits fleet appearance and rider behaviour via on ground visits
What Did We Order
