Key Responsibilities :

  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of Composite Technicians, Senior Composite Technicians and Composite Technician Supervisors engaged in composite fabrication, testing, and repair, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback as needed.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to plan and execute composite manufacturing projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical expertise and guidance to technicians, assisting with complex tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that composite components meet required specifications and standards, conducting inspections, tests, and audits as necessary.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality enhancement within the composite manufacturing process, collaborating with stakeholders to implement improvements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspection reports, test results, and project documentation, and prepare regular progress reports for management.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for technicians, conducting safety training and inspections as necessary.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current with developments in composite materials, manufacturing techniques, and industry best practices, and share knowledge with team members through training and professional development activities.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with additional vocational training or certification in composite materials technology required.
  • Previous experience with more than 20 years of experience in composite material fabrication, testing, and repair, with a strong understanding of composite manufacturing processes and techniques.
