Overview

We are hiring on behalf of our client for a Compliance Manager with strong knowledge of VARA regulations and hands‑on experience working within a live VASP (Virtual Asset Service Provider). This is a mid–senior position with the opportunity to progress to Chief Compliance Officer within 12–18 months, making it an ideal role for an ambitious compliance professional seeking career growth in the virtual assets sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day compliance and regulatory requirements under VARA framework.
• Ensure the firm’s policies, procedures, and controls meet applicable laws and industry best practices.
• Manage KYC / AML processes, transaction monitoring, and reporting obligations.
• Liaise with regulators, auditors, and internal / external stakeholders.
• Provide compliance training and guidance across business functions.
• Support senior management with governance, risk management, and regulatory projects.

Requirements

• 5–8 years’ experience in compliance, with at least 2+ years in crypto / virtual assets / fintech.
• Strong working knowledge of VARA regulations and UAE regulatory landscape.
