Job summary

A construction project firm is seeking a Compliance Assistant Manager to oversee contractor adherence to project specifications and manage outstanding defects. Key responsibilities include supervising contract compliance, managing tender processes, and preparing formal communications. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, 10 years of experience in the construction industry, and expertise in contract administration. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential. This role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Qualifications

  • 10 years’ working experience in contract administration and compliance within the construction/projects industry.
  • Proven experience in managing tender processes and supervising construction work.
  • Strong understanding of contract terms and conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and track outstanding defects and contractor non-attendance.
  • Ensure timely rectification of defects and escalate issues.
  • Monitor contractor performance against contractual obligations.
  • Develop detailed scopes of work for defects not performed by the main contractor.
  • Prepare formal communications and reports on defect status.
