A global engineering firm is seeking a Commissioning Superintendent Mechanical for a PMC project in Abu Dhabi. Qualifications

• Experience in GCC region preferred.

Location & Project

Onshore Site experience in MEGA EPC projects to be based in Abu Dhabi for PMC project.

Experience Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is a MUST. Having a minimum of Fifteen (17) years of relevant experience in the commissioning / operation readiness position with experience in GCC region as preference. Must have at least (5) years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects with preference of commissioning sour gas, Hydrogen production, Hydro‑desulfurization projects.

Responsibilities

• Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC Contractor or Vendors.
• Verify mechanical completion certificates requirements for various systems and subsystems.
• Participate in commissioning meetings and other related meetings.
• Participate in troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning obstacles.
• Verify the readiness of systems/subsystems for MC and RFSU certificates issuance.
• Monitor and approve the close out of punch lists in his area.
• Ensure completion and handover methodology is proceeding in compliance with related contractual documents.
