Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial Sales Manager to support our order management and commercial operations team. In this role, you will assist in processing customer orders, coordinating deliveries, managing documentation, and supporting invoicing and payment follow-ups. You will work closely with the Commercial Order Manager, Sales, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure smooth and timely order execution in compliance with Siemens’ guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify, qualify, and develop opportunities.
  • Support Sales to develop a winning strategy with cost calculation information, EBIT, and gross margin estimation.
  • Define Business Model based on country-specific tax codes/structures (NCM Model, PE, Contract Split, Own Business, Consortium, etc.).
  • Perform Sales data analysis for driving decisions on reach, customers, pricing, markets, etc.
  • Support bid management teams in all commercial and legal matters to define correct costing, winning price strategy, and ensure cashflow.
  • Complete timely elaboration of all financial/commercial documents for sale and bidding process.
  • Carry out asset management (Cashflow planning) and actively engage in FP&A & controlling activities of the business.
  • Manage and coordinate risk management and LOA approval process; identify, assess, and communicate risks to stakeholders promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with tax provisions, commercial law, and in-house business administration provisions.
  • Handle aspects relating to tax (PATAC), currency, and insurance.
  • Negotiate T&C s and consortium contracts with stakeholders; drive contract management, legal review, negotiations, and execution handover.
  • Analyze, assess, comment, and negotiate tenders and contracts; define legal contractual terms with customers, consortium partners, and subcontractors.
  • Track and supervise sales funnel development; prepare and present sales funnel data for forecasting and budgeting.
  • Lead activities around business models and coordinate with SFS for financing; provide timely & qualitative information about bid projects and sales activities.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree or qualification in Finance, Business Administration, Economics.
  • Extensive work experience in a similar commercial role within a project-driven environment.
  • Experience in cross-country collaboration within a dynamic sales environment.
  • Proficient in SAP, MS Office and commercial sales & bid-related tools.
  • Understanding of project financing, logistics, commercial laws, tax, and customs regulations.
  • Experience of end-to-end sales cycle starting from PM10 to project handover.
  • Knowledge of LoA guidelines, financial accounting (Local Accounting, IFRS).
  • Understanding of XaaS, shared savings and other financing-based business models.
  • Project IRR/NPV calculations, financial sensitivities and project development cycle, especially of projects in sustainability space.
  • Passion to never-stop growing.
  • Respect and appreciation of each person's uniqueness, willingness to co-create and share knowledge.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus but not a must for this role.
