About the job COATING/PAINTING QC INSPECTOR

We are looking for an experienced QC Inspector (Pipeline / Flowline) to join our team for an onshore oil and gas construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inspection and surveillance activities to ensure that pipeline and flowline construction works comply with approved project specifications, applicable codes, standards, and quality requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Report to the Discipline QC Engineer and carry out inspection and surveillance activities in accordance with the approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and project inspection schedules.
  • Perform inspections for pipeline and flowline construction activities, including but not limited to fit-up, welding, coating, wrapping, and installation works.
  • Ensure that all inspected works comply with applicable project specifications, approved drawings, relevant codes, and international standards.
  • Identify, document, and report non-conformances to the Discipline QC Engineer and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Generate, review, and maintain all inspection and testing records in accordance with approved ITPs, ensuring timely completion and proper approval/signatures.
  • Maintain discipline-specific quality records and files for ongoing construction activities, ensuring documentation reflects the current construction status.
  • Participate in site quality walkthroughs, audits, and inspections as required by the project and client.
  • Verify that all Inspection, Measuring, and Test Equipment (IM&TE) used for inspection activities are properly calibrated, valid, and suitable for the intended purpose.
  • Coordinate with construction and quality teams to support smooth execution of pipeline and flowline works while maintaining quality standards.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 5 years of total experience in the oil and gas industry, including construction and source inspection activities.
  • Engineering Diploma or Technical Qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Certification: NACE Level I / II, CSWIP, BGAS Grade 1 / 2, or another equivalent certification approved by the Company.
  • Mandatory experience in pipeline and flowline projects within onshore oil and gas facilities.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written).
