Weve got an exciting new internship opportunity starting this September and running through to December in Dubai.

CNN Dubai Eleni Giokos & team

Are looking for an intern to work with CNN anchor Eleni Giokos and her team in Dubai.

You will need to be able to jump in and support Eleni as she anchors key CNN news shows; this could be anything from writing guest research notes to assisting with printing scripts.

Your Role Accountabilities...

• The position will include helping arrange guests and contributors and chasing news lines.
• Eleni is also the face of one of CNNs key business shows Marketplace Middle East which requires extra support in setting up filming for that series across the region.
• Also the perspective intern may help with Connecting Africa a monthly show about the continent in which Eleni also anchors.

Qualifications & Experience...

• Basic knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro
• Microsoft Office skills
• Passion for the news and a strong interest in storytelling on television
• Excellent research skills
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and reliable
• A particular interest in the Middle East is absolutely key to the role
