The Cluster Assistant IT Manager supports the Cluster IT Manager in overseeing hotel technology operations, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency of systems and guest-facing technologies. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in planning, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure including networks, servers, and software systems.
  • \
  • Support critical hotel systems (e.g., Property Management, Point of Sale, key card access, IP telephony, CCTV, and guest Wi‑Fi).
  • \
  • Enforce cybersecurity protocols, ensure data backups, and maintain disaster recovery plans.
  • \
  • Provide IT support across departments, troubleshoot issues and train staff on IT systems and policies.
  • \
  • Liaise with external IT vendors and corporate IT teams for support and system upgrades.
  • \
  • Assist with IT budgeting, procurement, and asset inventory management.
  • \
  • Ensure compliance with data protection laws and industry regulations.
  • \
  • Participate in 24/7 support rotation for critical system issues and emergencies.
