As Client Project Manager within Diebold Nixdorf's Retail Software & Services division, you will lead complex software integration and managed service delivery projects across the fuel and convenience retail sector. You will oversee the implementation, coordination, and lifecycle management of retail software solutions in alignment with service contracts, SLAs, and customer expectations.

This role requires a deep understanding of software delivery, systems integration, and managed services in retail environments, with hands‑on collaboration across products, engineering, customer, and partner teams.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with internal development, technical consultants, and managed services teams to deliver solutions within agreed SLAs and performance targets.
  • Lead end‑to‑end project delivery for software, systems integration and managed services projects across multiple streams including business analysis, technical design, development, field services and rollout.
  • Facilitate clear scope definition, planning, prioritisation, and change management in alignment with client expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Engage with customers, partners, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on requirements, integration points, compatibility, and release readiness.
  • Monitor and control project scope, timelines, resources, and budget (based on predefined man‑days or BOQ frameworks), ensuring timely escalation and risk mitigation.
  • Provide project management support across the full lifecycle, including estimating resource needs, cost forecasting, scheduling, execution tracking, and delivery assurance.
  • Coordinate with development and support teams to ensure technical tasks and issues are resolved effectively and with high stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Assure customer satisfaction through timely and quality delivery of services, system integrations, and managed deliverables as outlined in the contract.
  • Maintain effective communication and strong working relationships with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
  • Track project performance, report KPIs, and provide regular updates on progress, status, and any risks or blockers to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by participating in team discussions, proposing enhancements, and staying updated on existing and new software solutions.
  • Demonstrate functional understanding of the software portfolio to facilitate meaningful discussions and solutioning with stakeholders across business and technical domains.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management ideally in retail.
  • Good technical knowledge on different Software and Database technologies.
  • Good technical knowledge on IT environment landscape and integrated solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile environment.
  • Good business English skills (written and spoken).
  • Good knowledge in Payment Solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bonus: Projects portfolio Retail Sector.
  • Good to have Agile Scrum Certification / Training.
  • Strong knowledge of retail software systems - POS, BOS, Payments, and interfaces.
  • Arabic is nice to have.
