Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all civil, structural and infrastructure inspections for the project by implementing all aspects of the quality management systems and site supervision activities.
• Perform inspections and prepare reports to verify documents that scheduled and unscheduled works and activities in compliance to the regulations, standards and accordance with the Dar Quality Assurance (QA) Program.
• Ensure inspection checklists and frequency of inspections are reviewed and approved by the Project Manager/Resident Engineer and a clear forward plan and programme for such inspections are developed. Also, ensure all completed inspection checklists, reports & recommendations are issued for record and performance review purposes.
• Ensure safe working practices including compliance with permits to work system & DAR Standard Operating Procedures are implemented by Contractors and Subcontractors staff at all times.
• Liaise with the Resident Engineer for the effective implementation of the quality management systems and site supervision provision activities.
• Raise non-conformance notices (NCNs)/reports, site inspections notices (SINs), identify quality deficiencies in conjunction with the Resident Engineer (RE).

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Civil Engineering or construction related field is required.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in construction related field with a strong background in High rise building / towers projects.
