Job Title: Civil Engineer

Location: Khalifah A City

Salary: 1300

Responsibilities

• Design and supervise construction projects, such as roads, bridges, buildings, and other structures.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software for detail design.
• Prepare cost estimates for materials, labor or construction time.
• Plan and design transportation or hydraulic systems and structures in line with government standards.
• Design plans to avoid problems like flooding and erosion.
• Monitor progress of construction activities regularly to ensure conformance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate activities related to the construction project with other engineering departments in the organization or outside contractors/vendors.
• Analyze test data and reports from laboratory or field tests on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics etc., for development of designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in the same field is required.
• Proficiency in CAD software is a must.
• Knowledge of relevant codes/standards is also necessary.
• Excellent problem solving skills coupled with excellent communication skills are essential for this position.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary, as well as strong organizational skills with attention to detail for successful performance in this role.
• Must be able to work under pressure while meeting deadlines without compromising quality standards or safety regulations.
