Job description
Position Overview

Office location: Grove Mall @ Al Barsha 2, Dubai, UAE. As the Chief of Staff to the Founder’s, you will be the trusted strategic partner and force multiplier for the CEO of a rapidly scaling healthtech company redefining diabetes care through AI, continuous data monitoring, and personalized interventions. From Day 1, you will drive immediate impact by streamlining high-priority initiatives, synthesizing insights across functions, and ensuring the Founder’s time is laser-focused on vision and growth. This is a high-visibility role with organization-wide influence, bridging our AI/Technology roadmap with clinical outcomes and commercial execution. You’ll thrive in ambiguity, translating complex strategies into actionable results while fostering alignment in a hyper‑growth environment. This is not a traditional COO role with direct reports; success comes through tight partnership with the Founder, cross‑functional authority on initiatives, and relentless execution.

Key Objectives
  • Oversee the development and execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment across Technology, Clinical, and Commercial teams.
  • Elevate decision-making by synthesizing cross‑functional insights and surfacing risks/opportunities for the Founder and leadership.
  • Optimize organizational processes to accelerate speed‑to‑market, maintain regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA), and scale efficiently.
  • Act as the central hub for communication, driving technological literacy and clinical buy‑in across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic & Operational Alignment (Tech/Data Focus) Initiative Ownership: Track and drive execution of OKRs and key projects, ensuring cross‑functional alignment and timely delivery especially at the Tech/Clinical interface (e.g., AI model deployments tied to validation timelines).
  2. Insight Synthesis: Consolidate updates from functional leaders (Clinical Operations, Finance, Technology, Business Development) into concise, high‑signal briefings for the Founder, highlighting risks, opportunities, and decisions needed.
  3. Tech‑Clinical Bridge: Serve as the primary liaison between Product/Technology teams and Clinical/Business Operations, aligning releases with regulatory milestones and patient impact goals.
  4. Performance Monitoring: Design and oversee KPI dashboards tracking AI/Tech impact on outcomes, efficiency, and revenue; prepare Board‑level reports.
  5. Leadership Forums: Orchestrate executive and Board meetings, including agendas, pre‑reads, and follow‑up accountability.
  6. Founder Proxy: Represent the Founder in internal/external forums as directed, advancing priorities with authority and discretion.
  7. Efficiency Engine: Identify and implement process improvements to eliminate friction, with emphasis on compliance, tech scaling, and decision velocity.
  8. Risk Navigation: Proactively flag roadblocks and lead corrective actions, from project pivots to organizational gap‑filling.
  9. Special Projects: Own high‑impact, cross‑functional efforts outside existing silos (e.g., fundraising prep, partnership integrations).
  10. Time Mastery: Strategically manage the Founder’s calendar and preparation for high‑stakes interactions (supported by an Executive Assistant for routine admin).
  11. Talent Alignment: Partner with HR on organizational design, culture scaling, and onboarding to support hyper‑growth.
Communication & Culture
  • Executive Voice: Manage communications from the Founder’s office, ensuring consistency, clarity, and mission alignment.
  • Knowledge Flow: Translate technical strategies (AI capabilities, data governance) for non‑technical audiences, building buy‑in across clinical and commercial teams.
  • Culture Steward: Collaborate with the Founder to embed GluCare's values—innovation, empathy, and execution—through growth phases.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with external partners, investors, and regulators to amplify our impact.
Qualifications Required
  • 6–10+ years in high‑growth tech, healthtech, or consulting environments.
  • 3+ years in strategy, operations, consulting (e.g., MBB/Tier‑2 firms), or Chief of Staff roles, with proven executive advisory impact.
  • Organizational leadership: Experience directing cross‑functional teams and leading strategic initiatives to completion.
  • Exceptional communication: Ability to distill complex ideas (technical, clinical, financial) into clear, persuasive narratives for diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic execution: Track record of turning high‑level goals into measurable plans, with strong analytical and prioritization skills.
  • Resilience: Thrives in fast‑paced ambiguity, with extreme ownership and calm under pressure.
  • Preferred: Deep healthtech/digital health exposure, including AI/ML in clinical settings and regulatory/ethical nuances.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field; MBA or advanced degree (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Public Health) highly valued.
  • Technical fluency: Comfort discussing product roadmaps, data architecture, and AI ethics without deep coding expertise.
  • Consulting background
