Reports to: CEO / Executive Board

Compensation: $SRC Token Allocation + Success fees from raised capital in cash

SRC Ecosystem is an AI-powered, blockchain-based digital trade infrastructure platform solving the $2.5 trillion global trade finance gap. Built on zk powered Layer 2 and leveraging real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, it empowers SMEs, exporters, and importers by digitizing trade documents, streamlining financing, and onboarding a global community of lenders and institutional partners.

Role Overview

The Chief Investment Officer (CIO) will lead the capital formation strategy, overseeing all fundraising efforts including the ongoing $4.5M seed round token offering, upcoming strategic partnerships, and public token sale. The CIO will also own investor relations, aligning stakeholders behind the project’s roadmap and long-term value creation strategy. This role is critical in driving $SRC’s financial strategy, ensuring a strong capital base while maintaining regulatory and reputational integrity during all fundraising phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute the fundraising strategy for seed / private round token offering, and public token rounds.
  • Identify, engage, and close strategic investors including VCs, family offices, DAOs, crypto funds, and institutional DeFi partners.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to structure token offerings.
  • Create and present compelling investment narratives through decks, one-pagers, and financial models.
  • Investor Relations & Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, providing regular updates and reporting.
  • Act as the main point of contact for investor queries and due diligence.
  • Represent $SRC Ecosystem at investor events, webinars, and high-level meetings globally.
  • Establish a transparent communication framework with investors.
  • Support tokenomics optimization and allocation strategy based on investor and ecosystem needs.
  • Monitor market conditions and advise on timing for public token launch and listings.
  • Oversee treasury management and long-term sustainability planning.
  • Work cross-functionally with CEO, CTO, legal, marketing, and product teams to align fundraising and go-to-market milestones.
  • Mentor and build a future capital markets team to scale with the project.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in investment banking, VC, crypto fund, or Web3 capital formation roles.
  • Proven track record of raising capital for blockchain, fintech, or SaaS ventures.
  • Deep understanding of tokenomics, SAFT structures, and public token offering dynamics.
  • Established network of crypto-native and traditional investors.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with RWA tokenization, DeFi, or trade finance projects.
  • Prior involvement in a Layer 2 or zk-powered blockchain project.
  • Familiarity with Asian, European, and MENA investment ecosystems.
  • Fluent in English; other major languages a plus.
