Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake a wide variety of pastries, breads and other baked goods ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the head pastry chef to develop innovative recipes and seasonal menus.
  • Manage the daily operations of the bakery section ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of excellence.
  • Maintain inventory control including ordering and managing ingredients to ensure freshness and minimal waste.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bakery workstation while adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Mentor and train junior bakers and kitchen staff fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Stay updated with current pastry trends and techniques to continue to elevate the resorts offerings.
Requirements
