Overview

Cashier job vacancy in El-Fujairah UAE for unskilled workers. We are seeking a Cashier to join our team in El-Fujairah. The salary for this position is 1600 AED per month.

The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service orientation, excellent cash handling skills and the ability to work independently. We are willing to consider immigrants for this position.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Receive payments by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers or automatic debits
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accuracy of funds
• Answer customers\' questions and provide information on procedures or policies
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
• Follow all applicable laws regarding sales tax collection

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a retail setting preferred but not required
• Ability to work effectively with multiple types of currency and payments (cash, debit/credit cards etc.)
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while following guidelines provided by management
• Excellent customer service skills as well as problem solving capabilities
