Job Overview

Carpenter in Khalifah A City, UAE. We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Khalifah A City. You will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Successful applicants must have the ability to work with a variety of materials, tools, and machines.

Responsibilities

• Constructing frameworks including walls, floors, door frames, window frames, roof timbers etc.
• Installing windows, doors, cabinets etc.
• Repairing structures such as stairs, handrails, banisters etc.
• Fitting skirting boards, architraves, cornices etc.
• Constructing built-in wardrobes, cupboards, shelves etc.
• Carpentry finishing works such as painting, varnishing, sanding, staining, glazing, polishing etc.
• Keeping work areas clean, organized, safe at all times.
• Adhering strictly to safety regulations.
• Cooperating with other tradespeople such as electricians, plumbers, roofers, bricklayers, tile setters etc.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Proficiency in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools
• Understanding of carpentry materials, such as lumber or fiberboard
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• Attention to detail
• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in uncomfortable positions
