MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To conduct tests on pulmonary or cardiovascular systems of patients for diagnostic purposes

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

To conduct electrocardiogram, phonocardiogram, echocardiogram, stress testing and other routine cardiovascular diagnostic tests on patients

Prepare relevant diagnostic reports for physicians

Provide assistance to physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac peripheral vascular treatments

To conduct tests of the pulmonary system of patients

Relevant cardiovascular reports and statistics are compiled and submitted as per standard policy

REQUIRED EDUCATION

A Cardiovascular Technologist technical qualification from an accredited institution

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years' postgraduate experience as a cardiovascular technologist

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Cardiovascular clinical equipment troubleshooting
• Client service and related management principles
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
