Job description

As Lead, Compensation & Benefits (C&B), you will take functional and strategic ownership of our Total Rewards function. You’ll design, enhance, and audit compensation, benefits, and rewards programs across our international organization, ensuring they drive engagement, performance, and growth. This is a remote position. We welcome candidates based in European time zones (GMT-3 to GMT+4).

Job responsibilities
  • Provide functional and strategic leadership for our Compensation & Benefits function: develop, refine, and continuously improve compensation, bonus, and benefits policies for a fast-growing, multinational team.
  • Build from scratch or re-engineer Total Rewards processes, ensuring compliance with local legal requirements, alignment with market standards, and reflection of our vibrant corporate culture.
  • Manage workforce cost budgeting as a unified system: oversee planning and control, and regularly analyze risks and effectiveness.
  • Conduct comprehensive compensation analytics and benchmarking; deliver strategic recommendations and expert support to top management.
  • Lead the implementation of LTI (long-term incentive) programs and localize, adapt, and support a wide range of reward schemes, including recognition, wellbeing, and non-monetary incentives.
  • Drive the automation of all key C&B processes, leveraging HRIS, integrations, and dashboards.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a talented Compensation & Benefits team.
  • Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, HR Operations, and Finance to ensure consistency, efficiency, and alignment across the organization.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Total Rewards/Compensation & Benefits, including building and scaling processes in large international organizations.
  • Proven track record of building C&B functions from scratch: creating frameworks, rolling out, and standardizing processes.
  • Experience leading global projects to implement compensation and reward systems, covering at least 5 countries (with experience across different jurisdictions preferred).
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams, including mentoring C&B professionals.
  • Advanced expertise in budgeting, designing, and evaluating reward systems (including financial rewards, benefits, LTI, stock options, bonuses, and recognition).
  • Skilled in automating C&B processes (HRIS, systems integration, dashboarding, IT solution design).
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Resilient and highly skilled in stakeholder management, able to communicate and defend proposals at the executive level.
  • Fluent English for business communication, presentations, and negotiations (C1+).
