About the job

Security is at the core of Google's design and development process: it is built into the DNA of our products. The same is true of our offices. You're an expert who shares our seriousness about security and our commitment to confidentiality. You'll collaborate with our Facilities Management team to create innovative security strategies, investigate breaches and create risk assessment plans for the future. You believe that providing effective security doesn't come at the expense of customer service - you will be our bodyguard (and our long lost pal).

As a part of Google's Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team, you will play a crucial role in keeping Googlers safe and secure and managing disruptive events. In this position, you will have the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act that are fundamental to your work. You will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. Your responsibilities will include continually identifying, evaluating and monitoring enterprise risks that could affect business activities and providing business leaders with the information they need to make critical decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage security and resilience programs, including collecting feedback, ensuring documentation is up to date, facilitating discussions to follow up with stakeholders, and proposing or implementing changes for continuous improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute protocols and practices to assess and mitigate threats to company personnel and assets, managing crises and delivering threat assessment services.
  • Provide trend, data analysis, and performance reporting for security related disciplines, using risk analytic methodologies and structured analytic techniques on qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Support incident response teams and Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) efforts, assisting where needed and joining activities that help get ahead of potential incident consequences.
