Job Title: Business Assistant (Arabic Native Speaker – English & Chinese Required)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Industry: Chemical Manufacturing / Industrial Operations

Salary: AED 6,000 – 8,000 per month

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Business Assistant to support in overseeing daily operations across procurement, supply chain, sales, and government relations. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth communication, documentation flow, and coordination between internal departments, external partners, and government authorities.

This position requires a native Arabic speaker with strong English proficiency and good command of Chinese (Mandarin, HSK 5 & above) to support multilingual communication with stakeholders across the UAE, China, and international markets.

Key Responsibilities
1. Administrative & Executive Support
  • Assist with department’s daily tasks, scheduling, meeting coordination, and documentation management.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, memos, and translation materials in Arabic, English, and Chinese.
  • Draft, review, and organize procurement documents, sales files, and contracts.
2. Procurement & Supply Chain Coordination
  • Support communication with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners.
  • Assist in preparing RFQs, POs, shipment follow-up, customs documents, and logistics paperwork.
  • Track deliveries, permits, approvals, and maintain accurate documentation of shipments and ISO tank movements.
3. Sales & Commercial Assistance
  • Help manage customer correspondence, quotation drafting, contract preparation, and invoice follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions.
  • Assist with coordination of international shipments and export documentation.
4. Government Relations Coordination
  • Support communication with government departments.
  • Arrange meetings, prepare letters, follow up on applications, and permits.
  • Keep updated logs of all regulatory commitments and renewals.
5. Multilingual Communication & Translation
  • Translate documents, emails, contracts, and technical materials between Arabic, English, and Chinese.
  • Support smooth communication with Chinese suppliers, contractors, and customers.
  • Facilitate cross-cultural understanding between multinational stakeholders.
Requirements
Language Skills (Mandatory)
  • Native Arabic speaker
  • Excellent command of English (spoken & written)
  • Ability to communicate in Chinese (Mandarin) – reading and writing preferred
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Languages, or related field.
  • Prior experience in industrial, chemical, manufacturing, or logistics sectors is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
