Job Brief: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch / General Manager to lead business operations in Oman for a well-established HVAC and MEP manufacturing organization. This leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening market presence, and managing key relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and government authorities. The position involves full P&L responsibility, strategic business development, operational oversight, and close coordination with regional and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the Oman market.
  • Identify and pursue major project opportunities through MEP consultants, contractors, developers, and government entities.
  • Drive product specifications and technical approvals with leading consultants and design firms.
  • Build, manage, and expand key accounts to ensure long-term partnerships and repeat business.
  • Lead negotiations on pricing, commercial terms, and contractual agreements in line with group policies.
  • Achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets.

Operations & Country Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Oman office, including sales, administration, and coordination with supply chain and logistics teams.
  • Ensure effective coordination with manufacturing units and the regional head office.
  • Monitor financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and receivables.
  • Maintain strong cash flow and control credit exposure.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, governance standards, and local labor laws.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the local team to drive performance and engagement.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects across Oman.
  • Provide structured market feedback to the head office on pricing, product gaps, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Contribute to regional strategy planning and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for market expansion and product development.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in construction materials, HVAC insulation, or building products industry.
  • Proven experience working in the Oman market with strong knowledge of local business practices.
  • Prior experience as a Country Manager, General Manager, or Branch Manager is preferred.
  • Mandatory experience in managing full P&L responsibility.
  • Strong background in business development, key account management, and strategic sales.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong financial management and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work independently and represent the organization at senior levels.
