Our client, a leading oil and gas company in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a skilled and experienced BOP Technician to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of blowout preventers (BOP) and associated equipment
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure BOPs are functioning properly and in compliance with safety regulations
• Assist in the installation and testing of new BOP equipment
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve technical issues
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on BOPs
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with BOPs in the oil and gas industry
• Strong understanding of BOP equipment and systems
