We are looking for a knowledgeable and highly organized Boat Service Manager to lead and oversee our service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine maintenance and repair excellent leadership abilities and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role is responsible for managing the service team scheduling and coordinating repairs maintaining quality control and ensuring timely service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all operations within the boat service department including maintenance diagnostics repairs and inspections.
  • Lead train and motivate a team of marine technicians mechanics and support staff.
  • Schedule and prioritize service work based on urgency availability and customer commitments.
  • Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards safety regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate with customers regarding service needs estimates timelines and updates.
  • Manage inventory of parts tools and equipment coordinating with suppliers and parts departments.
  • Maintain detailed service records invoices and work orders using service management software.
  • Monitor department performance metrics such as turnaround time customer satisfaction and service revenue.
  • Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Stay updated on the latest marine technologies manufacturer guidelines and compliance regulations.
  • Collaborate with sales and warranty departments to ensure smooth transitions and post-sale service.
