Overview Of The Role
The Beauty Advisor is responsible for engaging customers with courteous and efficient service, demonstrating full product knowledge to drive sales and business growth. Key responsibilities include suggesting appropriate products, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining optimal store environment through effective merchandise display and compliance with operational standards. This role supports store financial targets by increasing the Average Transaction Value and ensuring minimal shrinkage while enhancing customer loyalty through exceptional service.
What You Will Do
Sales and Customer Service
- Recommend appropriate products and provide information highlighting features, advantages, and benefits to customers.
- Assist in locating, selecting, and purchasing desired products based on customer preferences for brand, variant, and color.
- Utilize sales techniques such as suggestive selling, upselling, and cross‑selling to increase Average Transaction Value (ATV).
- Attend to all customer queries and needs, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Resolve customer complaints guided by set customer service standards and within the scope of control.
- Ensure compliance with all set customer service standards such as smiling, greeting, and offering baskets to customers.
Stock and Merchandise Management
- Monitor the availability of GOBE products and update reports on product shelf life.
- Ensure proper safekeeping of all store merchandise to prevent shoplifting, damages, and pilferages.
- Replenish products on display as needed with complete shelf and price tags.
- Monitor weekly price changes and update shelf/price tags accordingly.
- Display all products timely, following set planograms and guidelines for specified durations.
Operational Standards and Procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the assigned area.
- Prepare and set up store promotions using marketing collaterals to effectively communicate store promotions.
- Accomplish MFP and PDP on time and participate in implementing agreed EES action plans.
- Strictly comply with company policies and procedures, especially regarding attendance, punctuality, code of conduct, and grooming standards.

What Qualifies You For The Role
- 2 to 4 years of experience in retail with a focus on beauty or fashion sector.
- Good knowledge of the fashion and beauty industry and current trends.
- Proficiency in retail operations including stock, visual merchandising, and cash systems.
- Strong customer service orientation with problem‑solving and leadership skills.
