Purpose
Your role will be to support the execution of Business Development (BD) strategies aimed at driving growth for Finance and support the alignment of BD initiatives with the firm's overall strategy as well as Client and Sector strategies. You will make use of insights and data-led intelligence to identify opportunities, facilitate cross-selling, help with building client and internal stakeholder relationships and contribute to client-centric BD activities.
Your key responsibilities
- Provide support in driving growth across Finance practice areas by assisting in Business Development (BD) plan development and implementation.
- Collaborate with global Finance BD teams, with the support of colleagues, to ensure local Finance BD activities remains connected to the global network and strategies.
- Help to ensure that local Finance and client targeting strategies align with global BD growth objectives and firm strategy.
- Participate in building and maintaining relationships and interconnectivity across broader Business Development & Marketing (BDM) function, including Clients & Sectors teams, to drive growth in priority sectors and market opportunities, and help to create compelling, Finance-led go-to-market campaigns to engage target clients.
- Support the execution of focused Finance, sector, and client growth plans, helping to facilitate cross-selling opportunities within global product teams.
- Provide timely and high-quality contributions to win strategies and assist with developing market-leading pitch and panel submissions.
- Use specialised knowledge to support the use of data-led insights for horizon scanning, opportunity spotting, pipeline management and client targeting/development for Finance services.
- Conduct analysis of market information and monitor external trends to assist in shaping BD initiatives and goals.
- Assist in the effective utilisation of MarTech and data infrastructure to provide proactive, targeted Finance insights.
- Help to ensure alignment with global processes and the effective use of the Firm's shared services.
Your experience
- Experience in business development supporting Finance services, preferably in legal or professional services.
- Experience supporting BD strategy development and implementation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and functions.
- Experience contributing to pitch materials and client proposals.
- Analytical skills with ability to interpret market data and identify opportunities.
- Understanding of cross-selling strategies in professional services.
- Experience using marketing technology and data tools for BD insights.
- Strong communication skills with ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of global professional services processes and shared service models.
