Job Description
- Prepare and serve beverage orders according to recipes and service standards.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all bar products and cocktail recipes.
- Upsell to each customer to maximize sales.
- Provide high-quality, efficient, and friendly service.
- Prepare mise‑en‑place and perform side duties.
- Collect requisitions for food and beverages.
- Adhere strictly to opening and closing procedures and check beverage stock.
- Understand all beverage items and prepare garnishes accordingly.
- Keep the bar counter and surrounding area clean and organized.
- Monitor supplies, reduce spoilage, and minimize wastage.
- Handle guest inquiries courteously and efficiently.
- Establish and maintain good customer relationships.
- Perform cashiering functions following outlet procedures.
- Display premium liquors properly with defined quantities.
- Prepare garnishes for cocktails in advance of opening.
- Coach and train new recruits through on-the-job training.
- Perform duties in the Banqueting Department or other areas as assigned.
- Assist in employee training to ensure skill proficiency.
- Participate in inventory checks for equipment periodically.
- Be flexible and willing to rotate within the Food and Beverage Department.
- Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or managers.
