A leading company in the hospitality sector is seeking a Barista responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages at the pool bar. ThePool Bar Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee,espresso-based beverages, and a variety of cold and hot drinks at the pool bar.The role involves delivering excellent guest service, maintaining a clean andorganized workstation, and contributing to a relaxed and enjoyable poolsideatmosphere. The barista also assists with serving light snacks, supporting thebeverage team, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced outdoorenvironment.
BeveragePreparation and Service:
·Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso drinks,including lattes, cappuccinos, iced coffees, and specialty beverages.
·Operate professional espresso machines, grinders, and brewingequipment with proper technique.
·Serve cold drinks, smoothies, juices, mocktails, and bottledbeverages as per menu and guest preference.
·Ensure consistency in quality, presentation, and taste in everydrink served.
·Provide recommendations and upsell specialty beverages orpromotions to guests.
2. Guest Interaction and Service:
·Greet guests courteously, take drink and snack orders, and ensuretimely delivery.
·Maintain a friendly, approachable, and professional at all times.
·Handle guest requests, preferences, and complaints professionallyand promptly.
·Ensure all guest areas at the pool bar are tidy, welcoming, andservice-ready.
3. Hygiene and Cleanliness:
·Keep the barista station and pool bar clean, sanitized, andorganized at all times.
·Follow food safety and hygiene standards for beverage handling andpreparation.
·Ensure utensils, machines, and tools are cleaned and storedcorrectly after each shift.
·Maintain a neat personal appearance, in line with hotel groomingstandards.
4. Stock and Inventory:
·Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, syrups, disposables, andother bar items.
·Assist in receiving and organizing beverage supplies anddeliveries.
·Inform the supervisor of low stock or equipment maintenance needs.
·Ensure correct storage and rotation of ingredients to avoid waste.
5. Pool Area Support:
·Support the poolside service team during busy periods by assistingwith tray service or light food handling.
·Clear and reset poolside tables and bar counters when needed.
·Ensure all equipment (blenders, fridges, espresso machines) are ingood working condition.
·Assist during pool bar events or themed service days as directed.
