GCG business in the UAE has a robust wealth management proposition serving a wide range of global customers, with an expansive suite of offerings including investment products, secured lending, insurance products, and treasury / FX products across an open architecture platform.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the local investment products offering, focusing on Mutual Funds, Secured Lending, Structured Notes, and Alternative Investments to enhance their contribution to overall wealth management revenues as per the country plan.
- Design and implement investment campaigns and RM tacticals to increase investment penetration and active clients.
- Develop segment-specific differentiation and investment product offers to maintain and enhance the attractiveness of the customer proposition, aligned with regional and global initiatives.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to resolve issues and improve the client experience journey.
- Regularly communicate important KPI metrics such as Investor Profile, Investment Penetration, and new Investment Accounts to internal and external stakeholders to increase awareness and focus on targets.
- Ensure timely renewal of Product Programs and process manuals within guidelines.
- Maintain ownership and understanding of booking systems to facilitate system enhancements as per regional guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Investment Operations team to ensure seamless process delivery and controls, including documentation completeness.
- Support the front-line sales team with timely responses on product-related requests.
- Maintain audit readiness, achieve satisfactory audit ratings, and contribute to Manager’s Control Assessments to mitigate operational risks.
- Liaise with regional product teams to implement regional processes and solutions.
- Coordinate with the Advisory team on product strategies and model portfolios within the advisory framework.
- Monitor the competitive landscape periodically to identify strategic opportunities for product or service optimization.

Competencies :
- Deep analytical skills and knowledge of financial markets.
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in investment products, advisory, insurance, or operations roles.
- Experience outside or within Citibank is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial products across different economic environments.
- Knowledge of asset allocation and portfolio management processes.
- Ability to meet KPIs in a regulated environment.
- Understanding of risk management and margin finance is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Citigroup's investment processes and governance is a plus.
- Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
Qualifications :
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields. CFA or Master’s degree preferred.
