Job summary

A leading airline is seeking a Junior Tool Crib Controller in Sharjah to support day-to-day maintenance operations. This role involves ensuring tools are available, serviceable, and compliant with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a technical diploma or high school certificate and effective communication skills. Responsibilities include stock management, inspections, and updating inventory systems. A shift-based work schedule is required, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
• High School Certificate is mandatory.
• Basic exposure to Inventory Management Systems like AMOS is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of civil aviation regulations and handling procedures for tools and equipment.
• Ability to follow SOPs accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining stock levels of tools and consumables for maintenance.
• Carry out daily inspections of Tool Crib areas for safety and compliance.
• Issue and receive tools and update the AMOS system.
• Perform basic serviceability checks on tools before issue.
• Prepare stock and activity reports while supporting corrective actions.
