Job description

Role:

Supervise the current related Automation and Controls plant projects and future maintenance activities that includes coordination, installation and commissioning of all automation services, process machineries and equipment’s of the plant.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Automation Team in current plant projects and maintenance work related activities.
• Participates and coordinate with process and filler contractors in the design and execution of IT system structure that relates to plant MES, ERP, Automation, Controls, and sequence of handshake controls in process and filling equipment’s
• Manage the inspection, check, and review current projects related to Automation, Instrumentation & Controls work daily installation activities at site.
• Manage and lead the installation, testing and commissioning of main plant utilities plant automation system like refrigeration SCADA, IT Network, Access Control, AHU BMS, etc.
• Work closely with his counterpart from mechanical and electrical team in resolving plant machines and equipment’s problems quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain and continually strive to improve the departments productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Ensure that any machine issues, breakdowns, or preventive required work, is accordingly and timely communicated to the relevant department.
• Update on the status of all utilities machineries, production equipment and filling machine maintenance or other quality issues.
• Manage and participates in all centralized systems related program to plant operation installation, testing, commissioning, and operation maintenance relates to MES, ERP, SCADA & BMS system.
• Participates in developing project and maintenance tender, plan, and scope. Study and planning program to optimization of the maintenance processes while minimizing breakdowns & down times.
• Preparation and execution of all related plant automation PLC’s Preventive Maintenance Program as per the directions given by the department head with in standard and approve future program develop.
• Trouble shoot and diagnose the root cause of frequent failures and provide foolproof, sustainable, and pragmatic solution keeping in view the capital, process, product and workforce requirements.
• Preparation of plant maintenance annual budget for spare parts and CAPEX/OPEX items in any.
• Responsible to have all plant machineries maintenance records, quality records, and entries into the main archive log files and should always on time and kept updated.
• Provide guidance and support to the development of engineering maintenance supervisors and maintenance technicians such that they are accountable for achieving individual, team, and maintenance department goals.
• To check the machinery and equipment safety and interlocks are in working condition.
• To carry out the task, after implementing all the safety precautions are in place, to avoid any incident during service and maintenance of the equipment.
• Contributing to the Energy Management System (EnMS) by following energy efficiency guidelines, participating in awareness, and training sessions, reporting energy-saving opportunities, and supporting the organization’s energy objectives and targets
• All machines up-dated Backup and supporting software’s. Incase have issue in program can be solved immediately 100%
• All Automation related reduce cost by 10% by Supporting Project Team with Up Coming New Lines. Maintain the line within Target Budget.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree of Automation or Electrical Engineering
• Should have wide experience in Technical Engineering Team such as Project Lead, Management, Engineering & Maintenance.
• Proficient in computer software programs such as, word processors, CAD drawings, spreadsheet programs like Microsoft projects and centralized MES/ERP database systems.
• Knowledgeable in plant utilities machines and equipment’s installation, commissioning, and operation such as refrigeration, air-conditioning, boilers, generators, fire pumps, water treatment plant, wastewater treatment plant and air compressors is an advantage.
• Mandatory experience with plant automation and controls such as SCADA, BMS, Network, Access Control, etc.
• Competency in working with International Quality and Food Safety standards.
• Knowledge in PLC, Advanced programming
• Experienced with plant automation and controls such as SCADA, BMS, Network, Access Control, etc
• Strong practical knowledge in Manufacturing Management systems.
