We are looking for an Authorities’ Liaison Officer for a government affiliated entity based in the UAE.

Location – Sharjah, UAE

Salary – 8,000 AED/month

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in liaison roles with Sharjah authorities for real estate projects.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong knowledge of UAE codes, Sharjah submission systems, and authority procedures.
  • Experience with Municipality, SEWA, Civil Defense, Etisalat, and related bodies.
  • Skilled in documentation management and regulatory workflows.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with authorities (Sharjah Municipality, SEWA, Civil Defense, RTA, etc.) for project-related permits, approvals, and inspections.
  • Advise internal teams on local codes, procedures, and regulatory timelines from initiation through completion.
  • Track and follow up on authority submissions including building permits, excavation, utility NOCs, and certificates of completion.
  • Support design teams in integrating authority feedback and requirements into submissions.
  • Facilitate on-site inspections and resolve authority-related construction delays.
  • Maintain central documentation and approval logs for all authority interactions.
  • Prepare and submit project updates and approval status reports to Project Managers and senior leadership.
  • Ensure proper closure and documentation of all authority approvals during handover and post-completion phases.
