Job Purpose
The Associate, Residential & Commercial Leasing is responsible for promoting, marketing, and leasing available properties to qualified tenants while ensuring a seamless experience throughout the leasing process. The role aims to maximize occupancy and rental income, maintain strong client relationships, and support overall property management objectives.
Roles, Responsibilities, Duties
- Market and promote available residential & commercial units through various channels, including online listings, property portals, social media, and open houses.
- Respond to prospective tenant inquiries, schedule property viewings, and conduct property tours to showcase available units.
- Screen and qualify prospective tenants, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Assist with negotiation of lease terms, renewals, and rent adjustments in alignment with company policy and market conditions.
- Prepare, process, and ensure the accuracy of all leasing documentation, such as lease agreements, addendums, renewals, and termination letters.
- Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring all administrative tasks and inspections are properly completed.
- Maintain up-to-date records of tenant interactions, leasing activity, and occupancy status in the leasing management system.
- Conduct regular market research to remain informed of competitor offerings, pricing, and industry trends.
- Assist the property management team in resolving tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests.
- Support the collection of required documentation and deposits, coordinating with finance and legal teams when necessary.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants to encourage renewals and minimize vacancies.
- Represent the company at property expos, community events, and networking opportunities as required.
- Adhere to all legal requirements and company policies regarding leasing procedures and tenant interactions.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Real Estate or Leasing Agent certification (advantageous).
Experience and Competencies
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in residential & commercial leasing, real estate sales, or property management.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and administrative skills.Proficient in MS Office and property/leasing management software.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- High standard of professionalism and integrity.
- Proactive, energetic, and results-driven approach.
