Associate Manager - Finance | MAF Retail | Head Office UAE

ROLE SUMMARY

The Associate Manager – Finance is responsible for handling financial operations and would play a key role in monitoring accurate financial records and preparing financial reports. The position also involves assisting with internal and external audits, as well as supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes. Additionally, the role holder works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely processing of financial data and adherence to company policies.

ROLE PROFILE
  • Coordinate for timely and accurate maintenance of accounting records; facilitate timely and accurate closing of monthly and yearly accounts.
  • Prepare reports and ensure that the presented data are reflecting the company performance and financial standing accurately in the country.
  • Prepare yearly budget and forecasts for the business.
  • Sets appropriate control mechanism to ensure department budget compliance and takes corrective measures when necessary.
  • Lead comprehensive General Ledger, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and Inventory activities.
  • Coordinate for timely payments to trade non-trade suppliers.
  • Lead comprehensive General Ledger, Cash Management/Treasury, Fixed Assets, and Project accounting functions.
  • Handle additional tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, experience in retail is preferred.
  • Excellent Analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for ongoing interaction with Exhibitors and internal teams, including senior management.
