Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai and Abu Dhabi United Arab this role you will be responsible for supporting the project management team during the crucial pre-contract phase of construction projects ensuring smooth project initiation and planning.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing project scopes, timelines and budgets for potential projects
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for pre-contract phase
  • Collaborate with estimators and quantity surveyors to prepare accurate cost estimates
  • Support the preparation and review of tender documents and contract agreements
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders during the bidding process
  • Assist in evaluating and selecting potential contractors and subcontractors
  • Prepare project schedules and resource allocation plans
  • Contribute to the development of project management plans and strategies
  • Ensure compliance with UAE construction laws and regulations throughout the pre-contract phase
  • Maintain organized documentation and records for all pre-contract activities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management preferably in pre-contract phase
  • Strong knowledge of contract management and FIDIC contracts
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent skills in budgeting, cost estimation and scheduling
  • Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation strategies
  • Knowledge of UAE construction laws and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilities
