Assistant Manager – Delivery

Our client, one of the largest developers in the Middle East and North Africa region based in Abu Dhabi, is currently seeking an Assistant Manager – Delivery who will support, manage, and coordinate the retail delivery fit‑out process from unit handover, interior design and construction to successful completion in accordance with company objectives (assets and developments), balancing and meeting requirements for consistent standards, premium quality and expeditious delivery.

You will be the primary point of contact for all design & fit‑out matters between the Tenant and the company’s project team, asset management, estates, portfolio, design and infrastructure, and legal. Reporting to the Director of Retail Leasing, you will be responsible for:

  • Instigating, developing, populating and updating retail delivery process documents & guidelines.
  • Meeting with relevant government agencies to adopt best practices for approvals & fit‑out processes, and maintaining the highest standards of interaction between the agencies and the company.
  • Monitoring the company’s compliance with statutory agencies for the issue of essential base build approval.
  • Liaising with PM regarding retail construction program, snagging, conducting final unit inspection and documenting handover to Retail Delivery when practically complete, ensuring sufficiency of services for end use.
  • Assisting in managing the information flow and issuing documentation and drawings between tenants, retail leasing, project team and asset team to achieve all commercial targets.
  • Compiling pre‑qualified lists of consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Briefing tenants, contractors and consultants, providing specific and current guidelines, describing process, site logistics etc., and issuing all necessary documents and approvals required for permits in a timely manner.
  • Managing the concept & detail design submittal and approvals process – coordinating necessary steps.
