Assistant Chief Concierge at InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa

Hotel: Ras Al Khaimah Resort and Spa (RKTHA), Al Rafaa, Mina Al Arab

We want our guests to feel genuinely looked after from the very first moment they arrive. To support this, we are looking for an Assistant Chief Concierge who will take ownership of the concierge function on a day-to-day basis, lead the team on shift, and ensure every guest interaction is handled with care, confidence, and local expertise.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

  • Lead the daily operations of the concierge desk, bell service, transport arrangements, and valet partners
  • Deliver warm, professional, and personalised service to all guests
  • Build strong guest relationships and anticipate needs before they are requested
  • Act as a key point of contact for local knowledge, including dining, attractions, events, and transportation
  • Coordinate VIP arrivals, group movements, and complex guest requests
  • Handle guest concerns calmly and use feedback to improve service standards
  • Work closely with Front Office and other departments to ensure smooth guest journeys
  • Maintain high standards of appearance, organisation, and presence in lobby and concierge areas
  • Lead by example as a brand ambassador and promote hotel services and experiences

What we need from you:

  • Strong communication and guest service skills
  • Solid experience in concierge or guest services within a hotel or resort environment
  • Previous supervisory or acting-lead experience within concierge or Front Office
  • A confident, hands‑on leadership style with the ability to guide and motivate a team
  • Strong local knowledge or the ability to build it quickly
  • Ability to remain calm, organised, and professional under pressure
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • High school qualification or equivalent; hospitality education is a plus
